Anyway, on to the good part of today. I read some of that Death Note novel, Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases, by Nisio Isin. The elder of my two younger brothers bought it at B&N recently, and he's letting me borrow it so that I can read it quickly. It's only 176 pages, though... way too short. Especially since L's in it. The dialogue between Misora and L is awesome, and Mello is a better author/storyteller than I thought he would be. X3
"Don't worry. I'm a top."(Pg. 82, Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases, by Nisio Isin)
"A top?"
"An aggressive top," Ryuzaki said. "I have never once been submissive. One of the few things I can boast about. I have never even been submissive to a traffic signal."
"You really should."
"Never."
Yeah, yeah, all that's copyrighted to Nisio Isin and Shueshi. Blah blah blah, etc.
Anyway, on to the two doodles that I just sketched up.
Scribblin' names down in a Death Note. And, no, if I came into possession of a Death Note, I would not use it. I'm just not that kind of person. When I was reading the manga series, I actually thought to myself whether or not I would use one if one fell into my possession... and I decided that doing so would be heinous, even if I tried to reason that my motives for murdering a person were "good". When people die should be left up to God, and it is.
Dudes... srsly. And, yes, that's how you write Death Note ("Desu Noto" in Japanese) in Katakana... so says the front cover and logo of all of the Death Note manga volumes. Thanks for reading. If today sucks less, I'll probably churn out something better for you guys to glance. Magandang gabi po.
